cool

Compared to other shooting games, the controls in this game are incredibly smooth, and the attention to detail is excellent, including the special effects and prompts. I strongly recommend adding a scoring system or a level completion system.

about scoring system, its doesnt feet the game, and game has bosses (to start boss rush needs to unlock all skills in tree)

I like some of the design details, such as the prompt for the first successful hit

I suggest replacing the cover of the work as SpongeBob SquarePants doesn't seem quite fitting

i dont have thumbnail💀

Okay, let me make this clear for the judges - this is not a clone of HL:A, and i would rather say that HL:A is a clone of this game.

Story

So in my Revolt server, savaUA was sharing screen shots of his game. I wanted to help him out with it, so he sended the project. As a real HL fan, I jokingly changed the Player's sprite to Freeman's one. It was funny, but I begun working on it harder and harder, until it evolved into my game.

Gameplay

HL:A and Apocalypsis are very similar in gameplay, but still have a lot of differences (and don't forget that these games can be change later in updates). Here are the list of current differences in these games:

Apocalypsis
Half-Life: Apocalypsis
Turret count
5
3
Boss battles
Probably 6 (never played the game, skill issue >))
A giant epic fight against a big boss entity with cool moves.
(Currently) Only 1.
The boss battle lasts for about 1 or 2 minutes, in which there are spawned different entites, like H.E.C.U. marines, Vortiguant armies (not in the game yet), and more.

...and more.

Audio and Graphics

This is where these games are completely different.

Visuals

Sava's game chooses a nice "SVG" graphic style, which I don't really like, but it fits the game well. My game uses screenshots from the original game Half-Life, which makes the game (and the overall aesthetic) very different from other Scratch games.

Audio

You know what Apocalipsis reminds me of? Those mute movies from 40-s. Why? Because they didn't have sound (。^▽^)
Apocalypsis unfortunately almost has no audio (so sava pls fix)
But unlike Apocalypsis, HL:A does includes sounds, and I mean A LOT of sounds. There was so many sounds, I had to delete some music tracks to fit it in to the 20 MB limit with those sounds!

Music

As a time-killer game, HL:A doesn't includes a lot of music, and includes just the classic music from Half-Life 1 and Quake 2.
But the minus with the original Apocalypsis, it doesn't has a lot of music (as I remember). Just in the bosses, which appear to be... fine ig? I mean, it's nice and catchy, but it just doesn't really fits with the overall tone of the game.

Overall, HL:A and the Apocalypsis are similar games, but different enough that I can't really say which game is better.

I don't have Discord, so if my game wins, send all the NG to Sava. He deserves it more than me :3

ill add sounds later, im lazy to make apocalipsis rn (im making simulator in roblox)

(side note: there are 5 bosses)
